Sri Lanka Cricket has confirmed that the first season of the Sri Lanka Premier League will kick off in the summer. The teams will come from seven provinces in Sri Lanka and all the matches will be broadcasted live to an international audience.The matches will all be n the T20 format just like the Indian Premier League.The only change is SLPL includes five overseas players in a team.
SLPL helps to grow a new srilankan team,Hope to get new allrounders such as Angelo mathews,Some class players can also grow through this SLPL.From india senior players are not participate in SLPL.This hepls to reduce the total cost of the tournment,Also the participation of pakistan players make the SLPL great sucess,Due to the pakistan players the viewers also increase.
