Jayasurya has been recalled to srilankan ODI and Twenty20,for the upcoming series aganist England and scotland. This him to get touch in SLPL.His comeback shows age is not a problem to play.Dilshan's injury makes the selectors to put him in team.

Jayasuriya retired from Tests in 2007 but continued to play in limited-overs cricket. He last played in an ODI for Sri Lanka in 2009 and was left out of the list of 20 players who were offered central contracts by Sri Lanka Cricket in 2010. Though he was named in the provisional squad of 30 for the 2011 World Cup, he didnot make the final 15.

Jayasurya announce his retirement from international cricket after this england tour,he also commented that age never issue for me.Jayasurya said that "he was thrilled that the selectors had faith in my fitness."

Sri Lanka Cricket has confirmed that the first season of the Sri Lanka Premier League will kick off in the summer. The teams will come from seven provinces in Sri Lanka and all the matches will be broadcasted live to an international audience. The matches will all be n the T20 format just like the Indian Premier League. The only change is SLPL includes five overseas players in a team.
SLPL helps to grow a new srilankan team,Hope to get new allrounders such as Angelo mathews,Some class players can also grow through this SLPL.From india senior players are not participate in SLPL.This hepls to reduce the total cost of the tournment,Also the participation of pakistan players make the SLPL great sucess,Due to the pakistan players the viewers also increase.
